Money

A balance you can explain to any parent

Each lesson adds a charge to the family's account and each payment takes it down. The balance is worked out from those lines every time, so it cannot drift. Nothing is deleted. A mistake is voided with a reason and stays on the record.

  • Statements and monthly invoices as PDF, with your logo
  • Balance reminders by email, with the statement attached
  • Families can pay online by card, into your own Stripe account

Session notes

Parents hear about every lesson

The tutor fills in four short boxes after the lesson. The note goes to the parent the same day and stays on the student's page, so the next tutor can read it too.

  • What we covered, a win, what is still hard, and the next goal
  • Kept on the student's page with every earlier note
  • Switched off for any family that would rather not get them

What we covered

Systems of equations by substitution and elimination.

A win

Solved three word problems on her own without hints.

Still working on

Tutor pay

Tutor pay worked out from the lessons they taught

Set a rate per hour or a percent of the lesson price, for each tutor or each subject. At the end of the month you check what each tutor earned, record it as an expense, and print their slip. Tutors can open their own pay page any time.

  • Cancelled lessons are not paid, no-shows are
  • Margin after tutor pay on your reports

Lessons and calendar

Day, week and month views for every tutor. Weekly series skip school holidays. A calendar feed for Apple, Google or Outlook, and reminder emails to families the day before.

Students and families

Each family has one account with its students, parents and contacts. Siblings share a balance. You choose who gets notes and who gets statements.

Session notes to parents

After a lesson the tutor writes what was covered, a win, what is still hard and the next goal. It goes to the parent by email the same day.

Money

Every lesson is a charge and every payment is a line, so the balance is always worked out from them. Statements and invoices as PDF, balance reminders by email, and families can pay online by card.

Tutor pay

Pay per hour or a percent of the lesson, set per tutor or per subject. Each month you check what every tutor earned, record it, and print a slip. Tutors see their own pay page.

Leads and sign-up form

Put a sign-up link on your website. Inquiries land in a list of leads, move through consult and trial, and become a student and family in one click.

Agreements with e-signature

One agreement for families and one for tutors, with names and prices filled in. People sign from a link and the signed copy is kept as they saw it.

Homework links

Set homework with files and a due date. The student gets a private link, downloads the work and uploads their answers without an account.

Reports and exports

Money collected by month, margin after tutor pay, a year summary and a tax page for your accountant. Every table exports to CSV, or all of it as one ZIP.

Questions

Common questions

Anything else, write to info@resolventum.com.

Can I import my students?+

There is no spreadsheet import yet. You add each family with its students and an opening balance, which takes about a minute each. If you have a long list, write to us and we will help you get it in.

What happens after the trial?+

You have 21 days with everything switched on and no card. To keep going, subscribe from the Billing page. If you do not, the school stops taking changes, and you can still read every page and download every report and export.

Do families need an account?+

No. Families get session notes, statements, invoices, agreements and homework as links by email. They open them without signing in.

Who holds the money when families pay by card?+

You do. Card payments go straight to your school's own Stripe account. Resolventum never holds family money and takes no cut of it.

Can I export my data?+

Yes, at any time. Students, accounts, the ledger, payments, lessons, tutors, leads and notes each export as CSV, or download everything as one ZIP file.

Is my data private?+

Yes. Your school's records are only visible to the people you invite, and we do not sell or share them. The details are in the privacy policy.

Try it with your own students for 21 days.

Add a few families, book this week's lessons and send your first session note. No card needed until you decide to stay.
